"Rubber Duckie, you're the one..."

Rubber Ducks have really made a come back in recent years. There are some with all different colors, and some that even light up! When I think of a rubber duck, I instantly think of bath time and Ernie from Sesame Street. These rubber duckies are from the front cover of Karen Tack and Alan Richardson's book What's New, Cupcake. I think Ernie would be ..."awfully fond" of them if he could see them!


These are perfect for a baby shower of any gender! The "butt's up" duck is my favorite!


Here they are in my freezer trying not to melt in the hot heat of the kitchen! I even used rubber duckie paper liners.

    OMG!!!!!!! Heidi I knew you were making cupcakes but I was thinking cupcakes with swirled icing and sanding sugar! These are amazing!!! I knew you were the one in the family that got the creative gene...Talk to you soon, Aunt Rosemary
